When is the best time to schedule my first ultrasound?
We recommend waiting until 6 weeks or later for your first elective ultrasound. Before this point, it may simply be too early to see your baby or detect a heartbeat. Scheduling after 6 weeks gives you the best chance of seeing your baby and heartbeat.
When is the best time to come in to see my baby in 3D/4D/5D?
For the best 3D/4D/5D images, we recommend scheduling your session between 26 and 32 weeks of pregnancy.
How should I prepare for my ultrasound appointment?
Hydration is key! We recommend drinking plenty of water in the 3–5 days leading up to your scan. This helps ensure clear amniotic fluid, which is essential for detailed photos. Also, try to eat a light snack about 30 minutes before arrival to encourage baby activity.
Can I bring family members or friends to the session?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your loved ones to share this special experience. Our viewing room is designed to comfortably accommodate your guests, and children are always welcome. We want this to be a memorable celebration for the whole family.
Do you determine the gender?
Yes! We offer gender determination ultrasounds starting at 15 weeks of pregnancy. While our accuracy is very high, no ultrasound can guarantee 100% accuracy.
Do I need a doctor's referral for an elective ultrasound?
Since our sessions are elective and for entertainment purposes only, a formal referral is not required. However, we do require that you are already under the care of an obstetrician and have had at least one diagnostic ultrasound to confirm everything is progressing normally.
Do you accept insurance?
We operate as a self-pay studio.
